This blend helps eliminate moisture and strengthen the spleen, while harmonizing the kidneys. The five ingredients it contains are:
- Job’s tears (Yi Yi Ren)
- Chinese yam (Shan Yao)
- Azuki beans (Chi Xiao Dou)
- Fuling mushroom (Pachyme)
- Euryale seed (Qian Shi)
Each ingredient has been steamed three times, sun-dried three times, and then sautéed with wheat bran.
Sautéing with wheat bran (Fu Chao) is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that strengthens the actions on the spleen and stomach (protects the stomach, nourishes the spleen, and harmonizes the spleen-stomach relationship).
Indications
- Eliminates dampness: cough with phlegm, stools with mucus
- Strengthens digestion by tonifying the spleen and stomach
- General fatigue
- Feeling of heaviness in the body
- Loose, sticky stools

Preparation
250ml of water for 1 tablespoon of the mixture (1L of water for 4 tablespoons of the mixture)
Once the ingredients have been prepared, the mixture can be made:
As an infusion: cover the cup or container and leave to infuse for 10 minutes (can be infused several times).
As a very short decoction for 5 minutes (the same ingredients can be used for a second decoction). Cover the container, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
You can also eat the ingredients if you wish.
