Who is this DIY wine for?

Primarily for people suffering from chronic bronchitis, but can also be used for tonsillitis and pharyngitis.

What you need to make it:

  • A bag containing the herbs you need to make this wine.
  • An airtight glass container. We recommend a large glass jar with a glass lid. The seal will help to keep the container airtight. Avoid jars with iron screw-on lids.
  • 500ml grain alcohol such as vodka or sorghum or millet alcohol (called Bai Jiu in Chinese stores). Alcohol between 30 and 40 degrees is sufficient. No pharmaceutical alcohols!

Preparation for making this wine:

  • Open the sachet and pour the ingredients into your glass jar.
  • Pour in 500ml of vodka, sorghum alcohol or millet alcohol.
  • Close the jar, having placed the seal on the lid beforehand.
  • Label your container (name and date of manufacture).
  • Leave the ingredients to macerate in the alcohol for 20 – 30 days in a dark place, shaking the jar at least once a day.

Once maceration is complete

  • The medicinal liquid can be filtered. Or you can leave the ingredients in.
  • If filtering, squeeze the herbs to recover as much substance as possible.
  • Bottle for later use.
  • Always store the jar or bottle in a dark place.

Use

After maceration. Take 10 ml orally, 3 times a day.

For people with low alcohol tolerance, warm water can be added.

This wine is mainly used by people suffering from chronic bronchitis.

Contraindications

  • Pregnant women
  • Breast-feeding
  • People who do not have bronchitis, tonsillitis or pharyngitis.
