In addition to the antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory actions mentioned above, the leaves of isatis :
- Strengthens the immune system (enhances the phagocytic activity of macrophages in the abdomen, improves the capacity of the protein lysozyme, and improves lymphocyte transformation and splenocyte capacity).
- Anti-cancer effect (thanks to its high indirubin content, the main substance contained in the isatis leaf)

Instructions for use and dosage
Infusion
- Place 6g of leaf in a tall cup. Pour simmering spring water over it and fill the mug to 90% (between 200 and 250ml approx.). Cover the mug and leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
Decoction
- For a stronger effect than infusion, make a decoction. Place 6g to 15g of leaves in a stainless steel saucepan. Pour in 250ml of spring or filtered water and cover with a lid. Heat over high heat until it boils completely, then turn off and leave to infuse for 3 minutes in the pan. Drink the decoction.
The dosage range must be respected
Contraindication
– People with cold hands and noses, weak digestion, diarrhea or loose stools.
– Do not drink if pregnant or breast-feeding.
