A word from David Brun

Honeysuckle buds (金银花) can treat heat-induced diseases at both a superficial and deep level. Therefore, they are suitable during excessive thirst, preference for cold/ice drinks, discomfort in the torso relieved by cold but aggravated by pressure or just touching this area, excessive agitation also causing insomnia.
To this can be added other symptoms that belong to heat illnesses:
Dark urine, excessive sweating, skin rash, strong cough with yellow or green mucus, presence of blood in sputum or vomit, or in stool or urine, nosebleed, congested sinus, menorrhagia, metrorrhagia.
