A word from David Brun

(Graduate of the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine)

Mung beans are a wonderful food that can solve many problems, provided they are caused by heat. In Chinese medicine, boils and anthrax are caused by toxic, pus-generating heat.
Mung beans are also a chelator of heavy metals. Like azuki beans, it also helps eliminate edema, but without drying out the body.
Care should be taken with its cold nature over the long term and in winter.
